Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) has officially restarted its refinery operations following a temporary shutdown for regeneration. The announcement was made today by the company, marking the resumption of activities after the planned maintenance period that began on August 15, 2025.
In a formal communication to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company confirmed the restart of operations. The letter stated, “PRL has restarted its Refinery Operations from today, September 2, 2025.”
The refinery, located on Korangi Creek Road in Karachi, is a key player in Pakistan’s energy sector, providing refined petroleum products to meet the country’s growing energy demands.
