Pakistan’s first cashback rewards platform Savyour has announced it will cease operations by March 20, 2025. Users have until that date to withdraw any remaining cashback, as the app and website will no longer be accessible afterward.
In a statement, Savyour said following a strategic decision made 12 months ago, it was decided to discontinue Savyour. Over the past year, the company has been actively working on this transition to ensure a smooth and well-managed wind-down process.
“We also conducted key experiments on emerging opportunities driven by our commitment to continued innovation and greater impact in the region. Today, we formally announce this transition after a thorough period of internal restructuring and ideation, paving the way for our next phase of strategic growth,” it said.
“For our customers, the app will be operational till March 20, 2025, to ensure their cashback credits can be redeemed from their Savyour wallets to their bank accounts or digital wallets. For any necessary support during this transition, please reach out to us at [email protected], and our team will fully support you,” it added.
“For our partners, we will continue to work closely to ensure a smooth financial closure and will provide direct communication on next steps as we move forward in this process”, the company said.
Savyour made headlines in 2021 when it raised $3.3 million in a seed funding round led by Zayn Capital and Global Founders Capital.
Before the closure, the platform claimed that it had maintained a 52 percent month-over-month growth rate and served users in 58 cities.
