Petroleum product prices in Pakistan are expected to see a significant reduction starting December 1, 2025.
According to sources, petrol prices may decrease by Rs. 3.75 per litre, while high-speed diesel could see a reduction of Rs. 6.10 per litre.
Similarly, the price of kerosene is expected to drop by Rs. 0.73 per litre, and light diesel oil may become cheaper by Rs. 6.35 per litre.
Oil companies have completed their calculations regarding the proposed price changes and submitted them to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA). OGRA is now preparing a summary of the recommended adjustments, which will be sent to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow.
The Ministry of Finance will announce the new petroleum prices for the next 15 days on November 30, after consulting with the Prime Minister. The revised prices will take effect from December 1.
