Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an inquiry against the Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) recent advertisement on resuming flights to Paris, France.
Deputy PM Ishaq Dar in a policy statement said that the PM has ordered an inquiry into the PIA advertisement in which it seems the plane is hitting the Eiffel Tower.
This was stupidity, who conceived this idea, he said, adding that plane direction can be changed in the advertisement.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan, after more than 4 years, resumed flights to France last Friday.
PIA uploaded one advertisement on that day, which drew severe criticism and sarcastic remarks from the public.
Even international media reported on this matter.
