Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates from February 11 to February 13 to participate in the World Government Summit, sources told ProPakistani.
The visit includes engagements with UAE’s top leadership and global dignitaries attending the summit.
During the trip, Shehbaz Sharif will meet UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Emirati Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties and exploring areas of mutual cooperation.
The summit will be attended by prominent global leaders, including Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Bangladesh’s interim Chief Executive Dr. Yunus, and the President of the Maldives. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif plans to meet with President Widodo to discuss his anticipated visit to Pakistan later in February.
An additional meeting with Dr. Yunus is also on the agenda, where the focus will be on exploring potential areas of collaboration between the two nations.
