PSX Hosts Consultation Session on Proposed Reforms to GEM Board Regulations
Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) conducted a consultation session to deliberate proposed amendments to the PSX Regulations, aimed at introducing further reforms to the Growth Enterprise Market (GEM) Board of PSX. The session, held both in-person at PSX’s Karachi premises and virtually, brought together key industry stakeholders, including Consultants to the Issue and securities brokers.
The session was led by MD & CEO PSX-Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Chief Regulatory Officer- Mr. Ajeet Kumar & Chief Listing Officer- Mr. Syed Ahmad Abbas.
The proposed regulatory changes aim to increase liquidity & trading activities on the GEM Board by encouraging greater market participation.
The consultative session provided a platform for relevant stakeholders to share their feedback & suggestions on the proposed reforms. Engaging with market participants is a critical step in ensuring that the regulatory framework aligns with the evolving needs of the market and supports the growth of emerging enterprises. The comments submission period is still open for all concerned to file their feedback and suggestions for consideration of PSX.
