The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has carried out the re-composition exercise of the Mahaana Islamic Index (MII30) on last week’s data.
Accordingly, companies included in the index are Oil & Gas Development Company Limited International Industries Limited, Engro Holdings Limited, International Steels Limit, and GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Limited K-Electric Limited.
The companies excluded from the index are International Industries Limited, International Steels Limited, and K-Electric Limited.
Some other notable companies of the index are Mari Petroleum Company Limited, The Searle Company Limited, Engro Fertilizers Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Meezan Bank Limited, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited, Systems Limited and etc According to the notification, the changes in the MII30 Index will be implemented w.e.f. Monday, January 13, 2025.
Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited has carried out the re-composition exercise of the Meezan Pakistan Index as of January 6, 2025, in accordance with the relevant index rules.
As a result, the following are the incoming: Oil & Gas Development Company Limited, Mari Petroleum Company Limited, Sazgar Engineering Works Limited, and Engro Holding Limited.
Outgoing companies include Limited Lucky Cement, D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited, Systems Limited, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited.
Other prominent companies included in the Meezan Pakistan Index are Engro Holdings Limited, EFERT Engro Fertilizers Limited, HUBC The Hub Power Company Limited, MEBL Meezan Bank Limited, MARI Mari Petroleum Company Limited, and PSO Pakistan State Oil Company Limited. These changes in the MZNPI will be implemented w.e.f. Monday, January 13, 2025.
