The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), in partnership with the excise and taxation department, has launched the registration process for the auction of special vehicle registration numbers through its e-auction app and web portal.
According to a press release issued on Monday, applicants can register to bid for their preferred car or motorcycle number plates until June 30.
The online system allows citizens to take part in the auction process from the comfort of their homes, ensuring transparency and accessibility. Once the auction concludes, the names of the successful bidders will be published on the official app.
