Rupee Barely Manages to Keep its 57-Day Winning Streak Against US Dollar Alive

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) 57th day in a row on Thursday. Meanwhile, it posted gains against some of the other major currencies during today’s session. The PKR closed at 280.36 after gaining three paisas against the US Dollar today. The rupee has managed to silently pull up against other major currencies. The PKR was green against most of the other major currencies in the interbank market today. It was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and against the Saudi Riyal (SAR). Meanwhile, it lost 53 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD). The rupee gained 13 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) in today’s interbank currency market.
