Rupee Moves Higher Against US Dollar 39th Day in a Row

The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) 39th day in a row on Wednesday. Meanwhile, it posted gains against some of the other major currencies during today’s session. The PKR barely appreciated by 0.004 percent DoD and closed at 280.66 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today. On a fiscal year-to-date basis (FYTD), the PKR has gained 1.14 percent against the US Dollar. The PKR was green against some of the other major currencies in the interbank market today. It was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) and gained one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR). Meanwhile, it lost 74 paisas against the Canadian Dollar (CAD). The rupee lost 11 paisas against the Australian Dollar (AUD) in today’s interbank currency market. It gained 36 paisas against the Euro (EUR) and 43 paisas against the British Pound (GBP).
