SBP Announces Bank Holidays for Eid Ul Azha

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that it will remain closed for 4 days on the occasion of Eid Ul Azha. “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed from June 06 to June 09, 2025 (Friday to Monday) being public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha,” the central bank said in a notification on Tuesday. Commercial banks will also remain closed on the occasion. Besides SBP, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) announced yesterday that it will remain closed from Friday till Monday due to the reasons shared above. “All TRE Certificate Holders, staff and concerned are hereby informed that Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited shall remain closed from Friday, June 06th 2025 till Monday, June 09th 2025 on account of Eid-ul-Azha,” it added.
