SECP Becomes First Regulatory Body to Enable WeChat Service
The Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has become the first-ever regulatory body and public sector organization to enable the WeChat service. It stated in a press release that the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to build a culture of digitalization and enhance user experience, and the WeChat service will help Chinese investors make informed investment decisions and easily incorporate companies in Pakistan. It also explained that users can instantly get information about the names, availability, and company incorporation in Mandarin from SECP personnel through WeChat. The use of WeChat is already prevalent in countries such as Singapore and Malaysia, and will soon enter Europe and South America. SECP’s WeChat Service will enable users to exchange messages, documents, images, and payments for complete support and solution. The service can be accessed at any time at 0306 9365625 or the WeChat ID ‘SECPAK’ to directly connect with an SECP facilitation officer.
