Sindh Increases Health Budget by 8%

The Sindh government has increased its health budget by 8 percent for fthe iscal year 2025–26. A salary increase between 10 percent and 20 percent for government employees is also expected in the upcoming provincial budget. New job openings in various departments are likely to be announced as well. The Sindh cabinet has approved a total budget size of Rs. 3.4 trillion for the next fiscal year. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah last week announced that the upcoming provincial budget will include relief measures for the salaried class. The minister said salary raises will be finalized after receiving federal budget figures. The provincial cabinet has so far received all federation targets and is finalizing key relief measures for FY26.
