The prices of UPS batteries and solar equipment have reportedly seen a considerable decline across Pakistan during April 2025.

According to market data, both lithium and tubular batteries have become significantly more affordable this month:
This price cut is expected to make power backup solutions more accessible to households during the summer season.
In addition to battery prices, solar panel rates have also declined notably. The cost has dropped to Rs. 28 per watt, reflecting a significant decrease compared to previous months. Industry experts attribute this trend to increased imports and supportive government policies.
Federal Minister for Energy, Awais Leghari, recently stated that Pakistan imported 8,000 megawatts worth of solar panels in the past year. He added that the government is now working on plans to establish local manufacturing plants for solar inverters and other related equipment.
