Supernet Limited has announced a significant business development, securing a major contract with one of Pakistan’s largest banks to provide comprehensive connectivity and access management solutions across the financial institution’s nationwide network.
In a disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Supernet revealed it will implement state-of-the-art connectivity services for more than 1,700 bank branches throughout the country. The multi-year contract, valued at over Rs. 800 million, includes an option for renewal under similar terms.
According to the company’s statement, Supernet will deploy diverse connectivity solutions utilizing optical fiber, wireless, and satellite technologies as delivery mechanisms, complemented by advanced access management systems. This comprehensive approach aims to ensure uninterrupted banking services across the bank’s extensive branch network.
“This win reflects the customer’s confidence in Supernet’s ability to deploy and manage complex large-scale ICT infrastructure solutions nationwide and provide superior support structure,” stated the notification.
