Symmetry Group Explores IPO and VC Funding for New Tech Ventures
The Board of Directors of Symmetry Group Limited (PSX: SYM) has allowed the company to explore capital-raising options, including an initial public offering (IPO) for new product companies such as Greenfield Projects, venture capital (VC) or private equity (PE) funding, or another financing avenues in its latest meeting held on February 10, 2025.
The company has also approved two new products, Vidfy.ai and Influsense.ai, according to stock filing at the main bourse on Tuesday.
The Board has directed management to finalize necessary arrangements, such as appointing a financial advisor, before the next meeting. Additionally, the Board confirmed the minutes of its previous meeting held on October 20, 2024.
Symmetry, a sole proprietor concern, has evolved into a group of companies (Symmetry Group Limited and its subsidiaries) providing digital solutions. In 2017, Symmetry Group (Pvt.) Limited was converted into a public unlisted company.
