Systems Limited to Acquire BAT UK’s IT Services Unit

Systems Limited (PSX: SYS) has announced its acquisition of British American Tobacco SAA Services (Private) Limited from British American Tobacco International Holdings (UK) Limited, according to a stock filing on Wednesday. The acquired entity specializes in delivering IT-enabled shared services across functions such as customer support, marketing, HR, finance, procurement, and supply chain management to global clients. The acquisition aligns with Systems Limited’s strategic focus on expanding its business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The company’s board approved the transaction in a meeting held on July 29, 2025, and subsequently signed a Share Purchase Agreement on the same day. The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and fulfillment of customary conditions precedent. In a related development, Systems Limited’s associated UAE-based company, Techvista Systems FZ LLC, entered into a multi-year Master Services Agreement with Accenture (UK) Limited. Under this agreement, Techvista will act as a subcontractor to deliver AI-powered global shared services via the acquired entity.
