The Organic Meat Company Limited (PSX: TOMCL) has announced its successful entry into the Tajikistan market, marking its debut in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
TOMCL has started production and exports of frozen boneless beef tailored to meet Tajikistan’s specific regulatory and import requirements.
The company has already secured confirmed export orders worth $3.24 million, which are scheduled to be executed during the current financial year.
TOMCL is building on earlier exports to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. Slowly but more importantly, the demand is growing for Pakistani halal meat in untapped Eurasian markets and increasing customer confidence in the company’s quality, consistency, and logistics capabilities, TOMCL added.
According to the company, this development will support Pakistan’s national export diversification goals, create new foreign exchange inflows, and strengthen the country’s meat export footprint in non-traditional markets. It is also expected to unlock new revenue streams and improve margins.
TOMCL’s management reaffirmed its commitment to expanding its halal meat export base across the CIS, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
